How far in advance should I book?
For early morning departures, we advise booking at least 24 hours ahead. For airport pickups, please book a minimum of 2 hours in advance so we can have a driver ready as you land. For most other journeys to the airport, we can often be with you within minutes — just give us a call.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight in real time. Your driver monitors the arrival time and adjusts accordingly. You receive 45 minutes free waiting time from the moment your wheels touch down — no stress about rushing through baggage reclaim.
Are the fares really fixed?
Yes, completely. The fare shown in your booking confirmation is what you pay — and it already includes Luton's £7 drop-off / pickup fee, so there's nothing extra to settle on the day. The only variations are the published night, early morning and Sunday supplements, which are always confirmed up front when you book.
How many passengers and bags can you take?

Yes. All Gilberts drivers hold a Buckinghamshire Council private hire or hackney carriage licence and are DBS-checked. We're a fully licensed operator with over 60 drivers.
